if you were feeling tired and you wanted go to bed, you must choose "I went to bed Because I was tired"
for another: if you can say "I was tired Because I went to bed (for some reason, ex: math0's )" you can choose "I went to bed So I was tired", of course!

Hey CNNR, I don't think so. To understand this, we should use 'cause effect relationship'

(1): I went to bed because I was tired.

Cause: I was tired
Effect: I went to bed.

(Tôi đi đến giường bởi bì tôi mệt)

(2): I went to bed so I was tired.

Cause: I went to the bed
Effect: I was tired.

(Tôi đi đến giường vì thế nên ... tôi mệt)

Hehe...in ur case, if you use because, maybe you will be killed by someone that everybody has known already.
But in my case, eventhough I really do want to use "so", it's still out of my reach . So I'd better use "because"
