Dong Hoi, 5 year from now !
5 year from now, the year 2013, in my oppinion, many metorites will dropped into The Earth.
At that time, meteorites 'll dropped into the sea. Then the water level will increased. It will make tsunami on the sea. Next, tsunami will dip a lot of city, town and some country near
the sea. Dong Hoi, is not exception, will be sunk. The water level will be 20m height. The Nhat Le's beach, Quang Phu's beach, Hai Thanh's beach,..., all of Quang Binh's beach will be sunk under water.
Meteorites will enter the atmosphere very high up (right at the top in fact!) and by the time they reach the ground they are travelling at terminal velocity. Terminal velocity will be basically how fast an object falls under the influence of gravity and air resistance, the actual speed increases with the size of the object so something the size of a cigarette filter would probably not be going much faster than a few 100 km/hr or so. The object will enter the atmosphere it would have been going much faster (on average meteorites enter at about 10-70 km/second), but air resistance (drag) slowed it to the terminal velocity as it fell. Most meteorites will have sufficient time to cool as they fall at terminal velocity that they are not at all hot when they reach the ground. Some have even been reported to have frost on them! A common misconception about meteorites is that they could set your house on fire if they landed on them. This is not usually the case.

In Dong Hoi, the first destruction will be the Bao Ninh's village, the Sun Spa Resort, which located in Bao Ninh, will be collapsed. Next, the Suot Mother's Statue will be crunblinged from erosion. The water erode the foot of the dyke on two banks ( of Nhat Le's Beach ). Many hotels, houses, aparments,...near two Nhat Le's bank will be tumbled early. The Quang Binh Old Gate, Dong Hoi's Wallwill be broken. Dong Hoi's airport will be destroyed, too. Plant will be snapped because of strong wind and strong water. Whole constructor of Dong Hoi's city will be SUNK.
But, some areas, where located in the high appointed place, will be existed agian.
After disaster, people, who will survive, will expand all. Everythings will be started.

Dong Hoi, 5 years from now

In my oppinion, Dong Hoi will be a modern city. The economic, construction, environment, and the transport will be developed.
The first, about economic and construction.

Many factories will be established in the city and the companies will create many jobs for people of Dong Hoi.
Quang Binh is famous for Phong Nha cave, Phong Nha – Ke Bang national forest, Nhat Le beach, Da Nhay seaside and the Sun Spa resort,...etc, so they are essential conditions for developing tourism. In 2013, tourism will be the most important leading edge industry. It will contibute much to Quang Binh’s GPD.
Many hotels will be built for servicing tourists. Now, Dong Hoi has two mini supermarkets, but, I believe in 2013, there will be some big and modern supermarkets in Dong Hoi.
A modern library in my hometown can provide a good environment for the local people to study and upgrade themselves. There are a lot of newspapers, magazines and reference books for their use.
I want to build a modern gym in my hometown. Through exercises such as swimming, jogging, playing tennis, people can enhance their immune systems and enjoy life fully. Furthermore, people can develop positive attitudes towards life by doing exercises. This is really important.

The second, about education.

The schools of Dong Hoi will be upgraded, that children can get better education. There will be a large number of schools in a big city. Each of them owns many good teachers and advanced teaching facilities. All of these enable children to study well.
In 2013, teaching and learning English will be more proffesional.
I believe, Quang Binh’s University, where situated in Dong Hoi, will become a famous university in Middle Centre of Vietnam.. Quang Binh’s university will be train a lot of fields.
Besides learning and entertaining, we also need to do exercises to keep a healthy life. This is the reason why I want to build a modern gym in my hometown. Through exercises such as swimming, jogging, playing tennis, people can enhance their immune systems and enjoy life fully. Furthermore, people can develop positive attitudes towards life by doing exercises. This is really important.

The third, about environment.

The Natural environment will become more beautiful in the future. The sky will be more azure. The rivers and the lakes will be so clean that people can see the fish swimming in them. When children get up in the morning, they breathe the fresh air and hear the birds singing. Some big parks will be appeared, many trees will be planted.
Improving the natural environment will make people happier and healthier. People need not wear antiseptic mask because of the dirty air and drink filtrated mineral water owing to the polluted water.
The industrialization and modernization will change natural environment. But the Government will reorgnize a strategy as I strongly believe that a balance of modernization and clean environment can be reached. In addition, people would live happier and healthier in a clean environment.

The fouth, about transport.

I believe that public traffic system will be advanced. Even there are more and more people who can afford buying a car, it is suggested to use the public traffic system. The pollultion from the public traffic system is much lighter. All in all, an advanced public traffic system time efficient, cost efficient, and pollution preventing. This is the trend of modern cities.
Should governments spend more money on improving roads and highways or on improving public transportation? It is a hard decision to governments when they have only limited money to allocate. To my opinion, the better way is to improve public transportation for it carry more advantages than the other one. The first and foremost, improving public transportation provides more convenience in transportation and, in turn, facilities cutting the number of private transportation vehicles, so as to reduce the air pollution. It is well know that the gas emitted from the cars is the major reason to cause acid rain and green-house effect, which threat our normal life more and more. Protecting the environment is one important role for governments.

In conclusion, I hope Dong Hoi city will become a modern city as I imagine!
